Canon PIXMA TS6420 printer model belongs to the particular series of Canon PIXMA printers compatible with paper and photo printing. For instance, continuous printing of black documents has a rate of 13.0 images per minute (ipm). The color printing has a print rate of 6.8 ipm on the printing mode. Moreover, the print system comprises 1792 nozzles with 1152 colors and 640 nozzles for pigment black printing. The max: print resolution is up to 4800 x 1200 dots per inch (dpi) while working for double-sided or duplex printing. Regarding the ink compatibility, the recommended ink types include the PG-260 pigment black ink with a fill volume of 7.5 ml by standard and 14.3 ml for the XL version. The other is the CL-261 color ink type with a fill volume of 8.3 ml by standard and 12.2 ml by the XL version.
The compatible paper types include plain paper, Canon high-resolution paper, photo paper pro platinum, photo paper plus glossy II, and photo paper polished. Others have magnetic photo paper, re-stickable, t-shirt/ iron-on transfers, US envelopes, recycled paper, and chlorine-free paper.
